What You Can Do To Help
Please, take the time to become a member and inform yourselves of the previous ABVMA proposal and the issues that Alberta Animal Owner’s are now facing. Since these issues will also affect you as Animal Owner’s and/or practitioners, get involved, have your voice heard and help to inform others of this potential threat to our freedom of choice. According to inside information, it is not a matter of if changes are pending, but when.
ANIMAL OWNERS:
Membership (a human person, who shall be entitled to have one vote at any meeting of the members, attend all meetings of members, be entitled to hold office in the Association and be elected as a Director and enjoy all benefits of the Association.) As a member you will have access to Related Current Events, Documents (including the 2011 ABVMA Proposed Resolutions), AAAOR Practitioner/Therapist Members List as well as their pertinant course outlines, AAAOR News and Events and Newsletters.
THERAPISTS & PRACTITIONERS:
$100/year Corporate/Business (a body corporate, government or governmental agency and shall be entitled to one vote for its corporate membership at any meeting of the members, shall be entitled to designate in writing, from time to time, three individuals employed by it who shall be entitled to hold office in the Association,attend all meetings of members and enjoy all the benefits of the Association except that they shall not be able to vote at any meeting of the members unless they are the voting nominee of their Corporate Member.) An AAAOR Practitioner Application is expected to be provided in addition to your Membership fee. All Complimentary Practitioners/Therapists are welcome to join! You may be asked to provide course outlines if the AAAOR has not yet received one from your instructor/institution. As an AAAOR Practitioner/Therapist Member you will be expected to uphold the terms of the Code of Conduct (Pls see the “AAAOR Therapists/Practitioners” page for that information.)
